B. Design (Architecture)
Phoebe completed her Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2019. Her passion for the built environment was awakened by a day trip to the Austrian Architecture Museum in Vienna in 2016, where she experienced architecture as an instance of city-wide problem solving and social and political regeneration.
During her degree, Phoebe regularly found herself operating at the intersection of large-scale urban interventions and their fine grain executors and remains passionate about the environmental and social agency of technical details. She believes that every decision we make as architects is an opportunity to meaningfully improve our cities through the implementation of well-researched planning, genuine community engagement and rigorous design.
Phoebe has recently begun a Master of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sydney, and is excited to bring city-making principles to her design practice at Carter Williamson, and likewise bring the experience of high-quality built outcomes she is gaining here to her education.
